A QUIET DRIVE HOME...

We finally loaded up the car and headed back home from visiting family for Thanksgiving!  On this particular drive we had sunshine, rain, and snow!  It was actually quite surreal.  My friends joke that I drive to Little Rock like I'm driving down the street to the supermarket!  I enjoy road-trips.  It's at these times that I feel centered and able to sort through all of the chaos and distractions of my life, to get to the heart of all that matters.  Anyhoo, I was able to get a pic that resonated with me so, that I would like to share...

I am moved speechless by the raw intimidation of what lies within these clouds.  Although there was no thunder, no lightening, I could see and feel the power they possessed.  The light that separates them is magnetic, striking, forceful, yet peaceful and quieting.  This, for me, is indicative of the power of God in my life.  Amazing, undeniable, and necessary.

I'm not sure which I like best.  What I am sure of is that no matter what is done to manipulate this magnificent scene, only God can create such beauty.
