What a very cold and blustery day it was to head out to the monthly Scott's Antiques Market here in Atlanta! My good friend Tavia, my daughter Gillian, and I spent a couple of hours in one of the smaller buildings checking out the wares of the many vendors that travel from far and near. There is so much to take in, but my six year old was up for the challenge and did very well!
You need an imagination or a Restoration Hardware catalog to make the most of this piece!
This would definitely be used as a bar! Really liking the metal and wood rustic quality of this piece!
Garden stools are always nice to have around to use as extra seating or an accent table.
Oh my gosh! I so loved these lamps! Of course, I would refinish them, but they are so cool!
Lovely chair!
When I saw this table, all I could think about was "The Gordon's Fisherman"! I know, I know!
What is it with tortoise shells right now? These were actually placed outside, on a roof where ants and the sun bleached them to this white-wash look!
I thought a pair of these would be really cool!
This sideboard sold for $695!
Antlers everywhere!
I bought a couple of coral fans to be used...I don't know how or where yet, but I'm positive I will think of something!
This was my absolute favorite find of the day! A 1930's martini and pitcher set with tray selling for $9500! I was in love!
This is an extraordinary piece! It was sold and getting ready to be removed from the floor by the buyer! There was no other piece like it!
1932 vintage Mickey Mouse rocker selling for $1250
English Chesterfield sofa sold for $1695. Model (Tavia), not included!
The shades of blue and turquoise in this space was incredible!
Always a fan of random objects!
The top of this table is phenomenal! Such a gorgeous finish!
I adore teacups and saucers!
So lovely!
Beautiful turquoise!
Really great, heavy white porcelain pieces!
Well, we know how I feel about zebra!
Gillian makes her selections!
Time to head home! It's very cold! My eyes are tearing, but surprisingly enough my tooth is not hurting! I have a feeling once I come down from the adrenaline high I'm on, it will throb! Hope your weekend was all you wanted it to be! Have an incredible week!
xo,
Rhonda
