Beautiful! Perfection! I find this image of a rose to be somehow comforting. Almost like, it's okay to have a brooding moment, where nothing in the world matters except what's happening with you. That's the great thing about art, everyone sees something different! It's just a matter of opening yourself up to see anything at all!
I really like this photo. I wonder did he know he was being photographed? If he didn't, then what were his thoughts at the exact moment this picture was taken? I think it would be pretty amazing to be able to capture thoughts at the time pictures are taken. You know, so you can truly be in the moment. No? I guess I can see where that may not be the most desireable thing for some situations! I have a book that highlights the life of Sammy Davis Jr. It features a lot of his photography. Something that I never knew he did or had an interest in. A lot of his photos were of many of the stars from that era that really captured the human spirit and honestly, the typical, everyday, normal side of his subjects that probably very few people knew existed.
