I was driving home from an event and had to make a detour because of road construction. Of course, here in Atlanta, I don't care where you travel in the metro area, there is always road construction! I was in a section of town that I don't know very well, but I knew if I could find my way back to the interstate all would be well! Anyhoo! I turned onto this street that was lined with charming bungalow style homes and one of the loveliest treelines I've seen since blooming has begun!
I'm only familiar with a few trees and I'm not sure which these were, but aren't they beautiful against the cerulean blue sky with puffy white clouds! It reminds me of days when my brother and I would lie in the grass on a day like this and let our imaginations see what shapes, forms, and characters the clouds would become!
This is one of the trees that are blooming in my front yard. It only has a few blooms, but when the entire tree has finally bloomed, it is so pretty!
This is the same tree with a small birds nest! The kids in the neighborhood think its the greatest thing that we have a nest they are able to see up close!
