Have you ever stood in your room and thought to yourself, "I really like it, but something is missing"? Try adding a rustic element or two. It can be something as simple as a wood framed print, a mirror, a wooden vase, wooden spheres, or other wooden accessories. I have a tree stump in my family room that was to be used for firewood, but it had a very cool quality to it. So needless to say, it didn't make it to the chopping block! Rustic does not mean "country" or "log cabin"! It's just a really nice way to warm up a space by adding texture and character.
