I thought I would kick this week off showing the progress that I've made over the last few days in my family room! If you'll remember in an earlier posting, My Decorating Madness, I spoke about the anxiety I felt over pulling together a plan for this totally huge wall! Well, I think I'm off to a great start and I'm feeling really good about it! A colleague of mine, Terrell Dinkins of Posh Interiors, stopped by last week as I was finishing up this first phase, and made me feel a lot better about the direction the room has taken! As I was still a bit unsure, she commented that it was definitely a relection of my personality; immediately putting a lot of my anxiety to rest!

Although you want others to come into your home and like what you've done, it truly matters not if they don't! As long as you like it, feel good about it, and it is a reflection of you, your life, and how you live, that is soo all that matters! Honestly, there is an assuredness you will have when it all comes together. Don't worry if you miss the mark because you can always change your mind!
