Happy Friday! So, one of my very best friends and I went to see Snow White and The Huntsman! He's seen it once before and was all too excited to go see it again with me! Which I really appreciate since my guy winced at the thought of sitting through this movie! Yaay!!! We always have such a great time together! Obviously this wasn't your classic Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs! It wasn't without many twists and turns and the pursuit of youth! I'm sure we all can relate to that "youth" thing on some level, right!
I've posted a collage of pics that I randomly selected from my Pinterest boards this morning! I hope you have the most amazing weekend possible! Mine will be pretty busy as there is so much going on! I may just slide by Scott's Antique Market to browse the aisles and aisles of vendors! No worries, if I do you will read all about it!
I've always loved fashion illustrations! I'm also a very big accessory girl! I believe in statement pieces, not necessarily status pieces. Although, an Hermes anything would definitely qualify as both! Having nice clothing, I think, is essential; but what good is it to have nice clothing if it isn't worn with confidence? I love putting on let's say, a basic skirt and top, but then max it out with a great bangle, stand out ring, hot shoes, and an incredible bag! Takes that basic skirt and top to a whole new level, ya think!!!
Hair, makeup, and nails are never to be forgotten! I have to admit, I do have more bad hair days than good, but sometimes I am the only one that notices! It's so challenging to have it all together most days and that's why I have cut my hair into a style that I can wear messy or totally coiffed, simplified my makeup routine to what works and gets me through my day, and have a few shades of nail colors that I can easily go from day to evening with. But now that's not to say that you may find my nails bare and in need of a good manicure! I do my best and that's all that matters!
The one thing that I am so aware of is that no matter what the current trends in fashion are I know what looks good on me! I can't remember who said "fashion can be bought, but style one must possess!" My style comes from knowing who am I and confidence in knowing I have just as much to offer the world as the next person! I'm not easily intimidated or impressed by someones appearance, however I am sometimes wowed by anothers' style, energy, and attitude towards life. I wish I had more time to expand on this and perhaps one day I will, but for now I must wrap this posting up!
